Stock Market Recovers After Adani Shock

The Indian benchmark indices are again back in green, after witnessing a downward pressure from Adani group stocks. As of now Nifty is up 1.52% at 23,705.55, while Sensex has gained by 1.46% at 78,280.52. Adani Group stocks were down 20% in yesterday's trading session.

While Adani Green Energy was down by 7.90% at ₹1055.80, Adani Power, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd, Adani Wilmar Ltd lost their sheen by 3.37%, 3.58% and 3.52% respectively.

Among the gainers, Ambuja Cements Ltd and ACC Ltd share rose by 1.35% and 1.55% respectively.
